Time Tries All Things by Grace Weir explores time and our human relationship with it. Join the artist along with the collaborating physicists to hear about the process that led to the creation of this major new work. Chaired by Harriett Gilbert (A Good Read, BBC Radio 4)
Time Tries All Things by Grace Weir is the inaugural exhibition at the new home of the Institute of Physics. The installation is a poetic and lyrical meditation on different notions of time. It elegantly weaves scientific theories, philosophical musings, and cinematic manifestations to create a complex exploration of this intriguing topic.
Time Tries All Things encourages viewers to reflect on their own lived experience of time, and how this corresponds to, contrasts with, and can be illuminated by scientific knowledge and theory.
Join the artist, along with physicists Professor Fay Dowker (Imperial College London) and Professor David Berman (Queen Mary, University of London), to hear about their collaboration and the process that led to the creation of this major new work.
This conversation will be chaired and facilitated by broadcaster, journalist and writer, Harriett Gilbert (A Good Read, BBC Radio 4).
Free drinks and nibbles will be available from 6pm; the conversation will start at 6.30pm.
