About
Tim Gardner, a young artist (b. 1973) currently living in British Columbia, had the opportunity in autumn 2005 to spend three months exploring the National Gallery collection and using the artist's studio here. This exhibition highlights the paintings he executed as a result of that experience. Gardner works primarily in watercolour and many of his paintings have been based on photographs, mostly snapshots, of family, friends, athletes and mountain landscapes.
