Vicky Speirs presents "Tightrope", her first solo show. Mixed Media work including 3 dimensional pieces and installations. A soundscape accompanies the visual display. Performance piece on opening night only.
About
Tightrope is an exploration of the volatility of the human psyche as it pivots from positive to negative, black to white. This concept opens a door of opportunity for me to illustrate the disparate nature of my oeuvre and reveal my alter ego. My practice intends to confront the viewer with shared concerns, creating a platform for self-examination and reflection, albeit also creating a degree of unease.

A series of over 20 works illustrating the diversity of the artist's work. Some work created by her Alter Ego which idea she uses to explain unexpected departures. The show provides an uncanny insight into the artist's mind and personal space, many of the works being of an autobiographical nature.
