Bruno Cerasi’s distinguishing feature is his search for an absolute minimal form to tell, in contrast, the complex story of the human journey through evolution and revolution.
Memory and the continual striving for the future are the cornerstones by which to analyze the present, the one element which is blurred, precarious, with a tenuous consistency and no definable boundaries.
The style is fiercely poetic: the principle element in the suspended installations is the air itself; in the installations created with a complex system of interwoven threads, the shadows; in the black glass sculptures – inside of which Cerasi creates three-dimensional dystopic landscapes – it is the spectator’s reflection reproduced within them which becomes the true centre.
The Project Room:
For this exhibition the Project Room will be transformed into a black box where will be inserted delicate geometric patterns of light, suspended as in a metaphysical dimension.
