A painting exhibition with artist Joe Packer ( 2018 winner of Contemporary British Painting Prize, MA Painting ,RCA) and artist Caroline Streatfield ( 2019 Ingram Collection finalist, MA Painting UAL) and their artist parents ( Joe’s Mother- Jennifer Maskell Packer and Caroline’s Father- David Streatfield )
The exhibition hopes to encourage viewers to reflect on paintings ability, as a medium that condenses a period of time into a single moment, to capture time in a way that can evoke memories, make concrete fleeting moments, and capture family history in a way that can be both personal and universal, records of a past that can come forward in time to now, and still resonate today.
