The exhibition 'This way for Fun' is the first South London show for The Penfold Press.
Showing limited edition prints from collaborations with British illustrators Emily Sutton, Mark Hearld, Ed Kluz and Jonny Hannah.

About

The Penfold Press was opened in 2005 by Daniel Bugg as a print studio where artist and designers could collaborate in the production of limited edition prints.

Working with artists from across the country the Penfold Press enables artists to explore the creative possibilities of a number of printmaking techniques.

Since 2009 The Penfold Press has focused on publishing artists prints and exhibiting them across the country.

Working with an exciting group of talented individuals who share an interest in popular art, the Penfold Press has gone on to publish editions of prints by Mark Hearld,Emily Sutton, Ed Kluz and Jonny Hannah.

The print ‘E is for Elephant’ is part Emily Sutton’s Alphabet Series. Since beginning her collaboration with the Penfold Press in 2010 Emily’s Alphabet Series has become highly sought after with many in the series now completely sold out.

Emily has illustrated books for the Victoria & Albert Museum, Faber and Faber, Random House, Penguin and Walker Books; and undertaken design commissions for Betty's of Harrogate (for a new range of Christmas products), Fortnum & Mason and Hermes. In 2011 she was announced the winner of the Best British Pattern category of The British Design Awards in association with Elle Decoration and The Daily Telegraph for her St Jude's textile 'Curiosity Shop'.
