About
After having exhibited her works in Milan and Piacenza, the Italian-Argentine artist Thia Path arrives in Rome for the first time to present his work in the splendid headquarters of the Casa Argentina in Rome. The exhibition, entitled "Into the Colors", is inspired by the great masters of abstract expressionism of the twentieth century, but is distinguished by a very personal, energetic and unique color palette.
The colors used in Thia Path's works vibrate, explode and move, thanks to the use of pastels, rollers, brush strokes and drips. Through her art, the artist takes the viewers on an exciting journey through the lights and shadows of a dense tropical forest, immersing them in a roar of greenery. The colors used by Thia Path evoke the birth of a star or the beauty of a Roman summer through shapes and colors suspended in a harmonious balance.
In a historical moment in which war makes itself felt again, the artist wants his audience to contemplate paths of peace and horizons of light, looking towards the future. The exhibition invites viewers to stop and lose themselves in the chromatic combinations, glazes and nuances that capture the curious eye, to experience their beneficial and healing energy, to look towards their inner world and to imagine a bright future provoking sensations and experiences similar to those aroused by listening to a symphony.
The artist's compositions live on their own light, possess great strength and energy, capable of illuminating the splendid space that hosts the exhibition with colours.
The inauguration will be held at the Casa Argentina in Rome at 6 pm in Via Veneto 7, Rome. The cultural attaché of the Argentine Embassy in Italy, Denise Preguica, and the musical group Kleztango will be present. The exhibition, sponsored by the Argentine Embassy in Italy, will remain open to the public every day from 7 July to 30 August 2023 from Monday to Friday from 1 pm to 7.30 pm. Closed on August 15th. Free admission.
