About
The exhibition consists of two installations: "Please Water the Plants" by Clare Charles and "Bench Making Experiments to Explore the Potential to Interrupt the Urban Environment for Well Being and Reclamation" by Becca Thomas.
Although Becca and Clare often work collaboratively, with each other, with artists and with communities, this exhibition represents an opportunity to for them to explore their individual artist practice further.
"Please Water the Plants"
Taking Diana as a pinnacle of social expectations of care, Please Water the Plants links colours, clothing, products and fabrics, and questions who we expect to do the labour of care.
"Bench Making Experiments to Explore the Potential to Interrupt the Urban Environment for Well Being and Reclamation"
Made collaboratively by Becca Thomas, Christian Hart, Sam Hasler, Nia Metcalfe, Anne-Sophie Ouvrier, Thom O’Sullivan and Ian Watson.
