The Second year Fine Art students of the University of Cumbria invite you to the preview of their exhibition Therefore I am. This showing of dynamic, challenging and ambitious works encompasses all Fine Art media and disciplines, showcasing some of the best emerging artists working in Carlisle today. It is an exciting time to be part of the artistic community in Carlisle and these students are at the forefront of an artistic renaissance, with their enthusiastic engagement with the local artist-led initiatives such as FRED, the Carlisle Hub, The Bank Gallery and Badger Badger Gallery. Curating the event are Jane Topping (Visual Artist and Associate Lecturer in Fine Art at the University of Cumbria), Caroline Dalton (Co-Director of Arcade Arts) and Katy Little (current post-graduate student at the University of Cumbria).
