Holding their second joint show in London in November, ViewSeven is a group of artists dedicated to the design and making of art textiles. Using a variety of media, tools and processes, they create abstract work that reflects individual preferences.
About
The range of media used by the group includes earth pigments, natural dyes, Mx dyes, paints, colour-removing agents and resists. Processes include immersion and Shibori dyeing, Batik, screen printing, monoprinting, painting, scraping and mark-making with traditional and found objects. Hand and machine stitch also plays an important part of the work.
