Somerset Art Works, 'Sanctuary' festival 2022 and Sami Green Creative, present three weekends of free dance, theatre, workshops, music, and performance within an installation of origami butterflies. The artists and local community unite under themes of transformation, change and sanctuary.

The Transformation Project brings together a community through shared purpose, experience, and creativity. SAW's 'Sanctuary' festival sees a continued response that connects harder-to-reach communities alongside new collaborations. Artists and local groups offer a programme of events united within themes of transformation, change and Sanctuary. Join us for family-friendly and accessible, dance, theatre, workshops, music, and performance from local community-led groups, experienced artists and performers. Contribute to an evolving participatory word-based artwork Thursday - Sunday.
Sami Green collaborates with Tidal Tales Collective, Michael Loader, Sharon Lazibyrd, Bristol String Quartet, ArtCouple and Matt Davis, amongst others, to provide an exciting programme of events over three weekends.
