Artist Bill Aitchison will lead a unique tour of London’s East End and City by offering a guided tour of the different guided tours that cross the area.
About
The event is a 2-hour walking tour that talks about the likes of Jack the Ripper Tours, Street Art Tours, The Occupy Tour, and Gastronomic tours, to name but a few of the many tours Aitchison has taken and reports back on in his tour of tours. He says of it, “This is a guided tour for people who never take tours but are curious to know what they are like. It is also a genuine, albeit novel, review service for tourists, and finally, it is an engaged performance that explores the subtexts of London's tours which reveal a city eating itself alive in a property bubble.”
