About
In the late 1970's Youth Culture exploded on opposite sides of the world, what it meant to be a teenager were very different things. Sara Leigh Lewis - its all about Goth like Punks, In Weymouth Dorset, in 1976 Iain McKell was a beach photographer with a tiny monkey to secure passing trade. His friends lived in caravans and went to fairground discos, think Saturday Night Fever English style; slow on glamour, heavy on caffs.
Fantastic photographs of those long slow summer days of careless youth and casual beauty.
Iain McKell has a book to go with the show Private Realitty Diary of a teenage Boy
Sara Leigh Lewis has a Fanzine.
