This is a chance to see some original pieces using a variety of media including oil paint, acrylic and collage from artists such as Marc Heaton, Richard Burel and Glyn Macey.

Marc Heaton’s work is collected globally and continues to develop in subject and painting style. Bold colours and creative mark making shape his wok into exciting stories imagined from nature and the world around him. Taking his influence from the beautiful city of Bath Richard Burel’s paintings are layered with paint, glazes and collaged paper to create a abstracted quirky view of some of the Bath’s best loved buildings and secret streets. We welcome new seascapes and Bath scenes from Glyn Macey whose recognisable style is collected worldwide. Glyn uses acrylic, pencil and collage to gain spontaneity in his work whilst also creating a rich depth of colour. New artist Jan Phethean joins Rostra Gallery with her beautiful paintings capturing the changing colours and seasons of the landscape. Based in Cornwall she has become known for her intense use of colour and layered approach to painting.
