Martin Pavey is running a workshop in 'Designing The Film's Soundscape' as part of The Sound of Story 2016.

About

This workshop offers an exciting opportunity to gain insight into the work and practice of award-winning sound designer Martin Pavey, who takes on all aspects of the sound post-production process, including foley, ADR and the re-recording mix. The session will look at selected films that Martin has worked on, and include clips and scene breakdowns.

Martin Pavey is a sound designer, re-recording mixer, supervising sound editor and composer with over 20 years of experience. Known for his talent in setting mood and building tension, most notably in his multiple collaborations with Ben Wheatley, Martin has worked on features including Free FireThe Greasy StranglerThe Duke of BurgundyHigh RiseDown TerraceKill List and Sightseers. His credits also include several shorts, such as Room 8, winner of the Best British Short Film BAFTA 2014.

Lunch and refreshments are included.
