Avenue Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of new work by Surface Design and Printed Textiles students from the University of Northampton, presenting pattern and design in a variety of media, applications and contexts.
The ‘SD&PT Work in Progress Show 2014’ showcases some of the latest creativity and ideas on projects from students across all 3 years on the BA (Hons) Surface Design and Printed Textiles Course at Northampton. It demonstrates surface pattern and print design using both hard and soft materials towards a variety of contexts and applications including fashion, interiors, gallery space, commercial surfaces, transport interiors, and architecture.
The exhibition will open with a preview evening on Wednesday 12 November from 5-7pm, after which it will run from 13-27 November, Monday-Friday 10am-4pm. For more information please contact Avenue Gallery on 01604 893050 or email gallery@northampton.ac.uk .
