The Salon Flux Book

About

Having successfully launched The Salon Flux Book at Herbert Reed Gallery, Canterbury in December, we at Salon Flux thought it was time to officially celebrate our first publication with our friends in London. The Salon Flux Book is the accumulation of material created during the irregular Salon Flux activities between 2010 and 2014. It includes contributions from over 60 international artists who have participated in our events by presenting, performing, sharing and discussing their work. The publication is our attempt to collect these events as well as reflect on Salon Flux and our motivation for creating an artist-run arts organization.

We invite you to join us on the 1 April for a casual celebration. Jane Frances Dunlop will perform a variation on her inaugural performance, 'despite (when we were contemporaries)'. We hope that the evening will be an opportunity to see old faces as well as new ones. While it won't be officially an open house, the event will be an opportunity to share with each other and consider our ways forward in precarious times.
