About
For this taster exhibition, members of the Royal Society of Marine Artists have captured an astonishing variety of marine and maritime subjects for the public’s attention, demonstrating beyond doubt that the sea as a subject is inexhaustible – beside it, across it, above it, within it – as the site of historic battles and contemporary shipbuilding, a playground for sport and leisure, home to wildlife, and the focus of new learning as we dive below the surface into the element itself.We hope that you enjoy these works, and return for the Society’s Annual Exhibition from 11 to 20 October to see more.
