Join us for a Q&A evening with artists Adam Dant and Dan Llywelyn Hall, chaired by Cerys Matthews MBE, to hear about the exhibition The Reign.

About

The Society of Antiquaries of London celebrates its 150th anniversary of moving to Burlington House with an exhibition, The Reign, during London Art Week, starting 28 June. The event features 20 new artworks created by Adam Dant and Dan Llywelyn Hall, inspired by items from the Society’s historic collection.

In this pre-exhibition event, hear from the artists about the works they’ve created for the exhibition, artistic processes, inspirations and more, all chaired by Cerys Matthews MBE, singer, songwriter, author, and broadcaster.

"I’m delighted to be supporting The Reign exhibition & auction with contemporary artists Dan Llywelyn Hall and Adam Dant at the Society of Antiquaries. Celebrating 150 years at Burlington House benefiting the research into one of Britain’s most diverse collection of treasures." Cerys Matthews MBE.

Proceeds from this event go towards cataloguing and digitisation of the Society’s collection of around 25,000 eighteenth and nineteenth-century prints and drawings.

Tickets include one free drink. Please note, works of art in the exhibition will not be on display at this point, the artists will show the images in their presentations.
