About
The exhibition is a visual study of the measure of entropy:
There are visible regularities of form found in the natural world. Forms which are repeated regardless of scale. The Laws of Thermodynamics shape the aesthetics of our universe, an aesthetic inherent to our existence, a symptom of the progression of time.
The aim of this work is to create images of processes, processes of formation and destruction. Using various photographic techniques, this work visually examines the nature of liquid in motion, and how molecular disorder drives the dynamics within macroscopic systems. This is a study of the inevitable increase in entropy towards complete dispersed disorder.
This exhibition will consist of a series of limited edition mounted and framed c-type and fine art prints. These organic images are made using ink, oils, ferrofluid, milk, water and particles. Photographed using a PhaseOne digital medium format system, in intimate macro detail.
