The Other Art Fair, the UK’s leading artist fair, is delighted to announce its 8th edition which runs from 23rd – 26th April in a stunning new London location in Bloomsbury.

About

The April edition will feature a collaboration with the critically acclaimed House of Fairy Tales and celebrated artist Gavin Turk, who will also be the special guest artist. House of Fairy Tales and Gavin Turk will produce two specially commissioned editions for the fair, sales of which will support the ongoing educational work of House of Fairy Tales. House of Fairytales will also make a special appearance on Saturday with an opportunity for younger visitors to join in and be an art reporter for the day with the HOFT Examiner – an art magazine about the fair made by children.

The Other Art Fair’s selection committee of industry experts, including special guest artist Gavin Turk and Dr Stephanie Buck, Curator of Drawings at The Courtauld Gallery, have selected 120 unrepresented artists from a record 700 applications, ensuring a fantastic line-up of remarkable talent from all over the world.

The Other Art Fair is the place to discover something new in a friendly, fun and unpretentious setting where the public can speak directly to the artists, join in with the Fair’s programme of lively talks and immersive performances, or simply relax at the bar and take in music from one of The Other Art Fair's resident DJs.

The fair has firmly established itself as a much-loved feature of the vibrant London art scene for the general public and art world professionals alike. The tireless commitment by The Other Art Fair to championing emerging artists, make it truly special, providing professional support and a unique platform from which they can become the stars of tomorrow.

The incredible trajectory of The Other Art Fair continues in 2015 with brand new editions for Bristol and Sydney confirming the continued success and popularity of the Fair.

Fair Director, Ryan Stanier commented:

"2015 will be a seminal year for us at The Other Art Fair and an exciting opportunity to showcase the greatest ever number of unrepresented artists – as well as breaking completely new ground with our first ever fairs in Bristol and Sydney. I think we have really captured the zietgiest with The Other Art Fair; it offers a new and genuinely accessible way to see, experience and buy great art."
