The Open Exhibition

Opening on Friday 16th November, the Crocus Gallery annual open exhibition will be showcasing over 70 different artists. The third exhibition of its kind at Crocus, we promise to wow you with a wide range of talent and experimental mediums. Organised by Kay Richards, Melissa Reed and Rachel Tait, this exhibition brings together a diverse collection of artists from across the Uk, Europe and beyond. There will be huge photographs by Adrian Shaw, work inspired by Damien Hirst's spot paintings by Lucy Sparrow and hidden light bulbs if you can find them by Lauren Halford to name a few. Many of the pieces will be on sale, so this exhibition provides a rare chance to pick up some reasonably priced, interesting work, while supporting our volunteer-run organisation. The exhibition will launch on Friday 16th 6-9pm with entertainment and refreshments, and the chance to talk to many of the artists in the exhibition. The winner of our competition will also be announced on the night by artist Madeline Burt (a previous exhibitor at the gallery). The prize is a two week solo exhibition for one of the lucky artists in the open.
