An exhibition of 28 UK artists work in different media reflecting their responses to the Hare
About
Part of the Cirencester Hare Festival 2015
......the skidaddler, the nibbler, beat-the-pad, white-face, The stubble-stag, the long lugs, the stook-deer, the frisky legs,......
This well-loved creature of the english countryside has inspired artists down the centuries. Our title is taken from a middle English poem of the same name (translated by Seamus Heaney) For our summer exhibition we have invited some of our favourite artists and makers from around the UK to share work featuring the hare including paintings, prints, jewellery, textiles, ceramics, felt, wood, books, metal sculpture and more. 28 artists will be featured in the exhibition
