The London Sculpture Conference following ForumArts 2016 International Sculpture Symposium.
About
This is an opportunity to meet the artists that participated in the second ForumArts International Sculpture Symposium, 2016 at Riverhill Himalayan Gardens, Sevenoaks Kent and to see the work that they have produced in only 11 days.
Sculpture Symposiums have expanded worldwide as an opportunity for both, the artists and the community, to access a different approach to artistic work and the creative process.
Tim Norris, Nayoung Jeong, Claire Mc Dermott, Nathan Murphy and Lauren Wilson will be talking about their experience and you will be able to get a great insight into this type of events.
Please join us on Thursday 31st August, 6pm at the Royal British Society of Sculptors. 108 Old Brompton Road. SW7 3RA
6.30 pm Welcome speech and artists' talk
7.15 pm Q&A. Open discussion with th public
Artists from the first Symposium in 2014: Katie Hayward, Patrick Hurst, Jane Philipps, Steve Hurtado, Ed Jones and Sol Bailey Barker donated a a piece of work in wax to be cast into bronze during the second Symposium. The bronze sculptures will be exhibited during the Conference and the sale of the cast pieces would help ForumArts to fundraise for upcoming symposiums.
