The Living Room XL is an exhibition that imitates the form of a happening. Every artist is offered a period of half an hour to install and present their work. The exhibition unfolds, during 12 hours from 2pm until 2am from one intervention to the other.

AIR Antwerpen is thrilled to announce their upcoming event, the Living Room XL on September the 2nd.
The Living Room XL is an exhibition that imitates the form of a happening. This art form originated at the end of the 50’s in the US. It combined visual art, music, theater and embraced chance as part of the event. Every artist is offered a period of half an hour to install and present their work. The exhibition unfolds, during 12 hours from 2pm until 2am from one intervention to the other. In order to see the entire exhibition, maximum presence is essential. Therefor drinks and food will be available and at democratic prices. Entrance is free and for everyone.
