Central Saint Martins presents The Intelligent Optimist, an exhibition and events programme exploring various futures for design. Future Gazers, Material Explorers, Social Agents and The Fixers; all use creative practices and critical intelligence to propose provocative and hopeful new perspectives.
About
The Intelligent Optimist showcases the best design work coming out of Central Saint Martins, an institution renowned internationally for asking difficult questions and coming up with inventive answers. Operating across most design disciplines, the exhibition will explore the various futures for design.
Alongside the exhibition, featuring over 50 key recent CSM design graduates, the Lethaby Gallery will host a week-long series of events by the graduates. Running from 19 - 27 September the series will include talks, demos and workshops. Come and meet the designers of the future, and get fascinating insights into the concepts behind their work and how they were made.
