In the Waterfront Gallery between 15:00 - 17:00 we will be combining our reception with the private viewing of our pop-up exhibition which, will showcase outstanding artworks by our speakers and other acclaimed regional artists,in accompaniment to the symposium.
There are many internationally recognised artists living in the East of England or those with links to the region whose main practice is painting. We hope for this event to be a platform for bringing together these networks to further the dialogue surrounding painting today.
This event is being co-organised by Laurel Berry and Laura Leahy, currently MA Arts Practice students at University Campus Suffolk.
We are being generously supported by the UCS Class of 2014 Future Funds and The Mid Suffolk Small Arts Grants. This Event is being run in association with UCS.
