The workshop will concentrate on a number of crucial areas including shape, weight, balance, light, and composition, and students will be encouraged to use drawing in a variety of ways as a means of exploring these areas.
Towards the end of the workshop they will be working towards a drawing or painting that brings together what they have learnt in the earlier part of the course.
David will be giving a lecture on the Friday night looking at ways artists past and present have tackled the human form in space.
For painting courses we will provide both oil and acrylic paper, zest it (sorry no turps or white spirit allowed), basic brushes and pallets and a range of boards and easels. We do not supply oil or acrylic paint so please bring these with you including your own pallets, brushes and canvases you may wish to work with.
Suitable for beginners and the more experienced alike.
