Re-Scoring the Silent film series

About

Director: Arnold Fanck, Germany (1926) Holy Mountain is the story of mountaineer friends Karl and Vigo who both fall for dancer Diotima (Leni Riefenstahl), leading to a love-triangle romance which plays out against a glorious Alpine landscape. Featuring death-defying climbing, avalanche-dodging, and frenetic downhill ski racing by expert skiers and climbers, rarely have the slopes of the Alps looked as exciting. Alexis Kirke, composer of the acclaimed soundscore to ‘South' in last year's ‘Re-scoring' series, returns with a new soundtrack capturing the power and spirituality of Fanck's stunning epic.
