D Contemporary is excited to introduce 'The Front Room Show', bringing together new works from artists fresh to the London scene.
About
The Front Room Show brings together new works from artists fresh to the London scene. Each artist has contributed a piece from their most current body of work, straight from the studio, some pieces having only been finished last week. The exhibition is a demonstration of current mindsets in contemporary painting, giving a snapshot into what is being created at this moment. With no objective in place within the show, the pieces must speak for themselves, from artist to artist.
This short but sweet show exhibits nine artists working across painting through a range of different styles, techniques, and sizes. It operates like a studio visit setting up within the gallery space, giving us insight into work in their freshest state.
Participating artists are Arthur Boothby, Andy Maher, Bryony Hillman, Callisto Waters, Darcey Murphy, Ella Garvey, Josef William Back, and Lindsey Jean McLean.
