An Open Day and Taster Workshop for the Royal Drawing School's Foundation Year
About
The Royal Drawing School's art foundation course, The Foundation Year, holds a number of Open Days for students, parents and teachers who would like to visit the School and studios, meet the faculty and find out more about the Course. (Please note that there is no wheelchair access.)
Our 2019/20 Open Days will be held on:

After this Open Day we will also be holding a Taster Workshop in the afternoon, 1.30–5pm, which is bookable through our website here. A light lunch is provided for students who attend the full day.
This afternoon workshop introduces students to life drawing, giving them the opportunity to develop skills working from a clothed model. Afterwards, students will take part in a group crit and go through their portfolios with the tutor, getting advice on what might make a successful portfolio.
(This is a free event however booking is required and is on a first-come, first-served basis. There are a number of places reserved for students from local schools in Tower Hamlets, Newham and Hackney. Please email foundationyear@royaldrawingschool.org or call 0207 536 9688 for more information.)
