This spring and in partnership with Brighton Festival, Fabrica will be transformed into a fairytale installation by internationally renowned contemporary artist, Olafur Eliasson.

About

As Fabrica celebrates its 25th anniversary, this landmark work will be one of Fabrica's most memorable exhibitions to date. Come and be immersed in nature, in a space filled with branches and saplings. Visitors must take a journey through the installation and as the pathway forks... a choice must be made.

The Forked Forest Path is part of the Towner Collection on loan to Fabrica from Towner Eastbourne. Purchased through the The Contemporary Art Society Special Collection Scheme with Lottery funding from Arts Council England, 2004.

Olafur Eliasson has transformed some of the world’s most iconic spaces with his large-scale installations and stunning visuals, including Tate Modern, where his The Weather Project memorably inhabited the vast Turbine Hall. His beguiling and engaging work harnesses illusion and enchantment, and this Brighton Festival collaboration with Fabrica promises a stimulating experience for all ages and abilities.

We will continue to follow strict Covid guidelines to keep Fabrica safe for everyone. The capacity in the gallery will be limited due to social distancing which may result in some queuing. Face coverings must be worn during your visit unless you are exempt and track and trace will be in operation on entry.

Please note Fabrica is closed on Mondays except for the Bank Holiday when opening times are 11am - 6pm.
