The Fifth World is inspired by the power of myths and dreams, by textures, contrasts and the search for individual wholeness through religion, mythology and art.
About
‘The Fifth World’, is a new collection of paintings by Alice Boyle; inspired by the power of dreams, mythology and the collective unconscious. Alice uses textures, vivid colours, shapes/symbols and layering techniques, aiming to stimulate the senses and to make the viewers more in tune with their psyches. Alice explores the eternal and intrinsic search for individual wholeness through the process of art and creativity, while purposely avoiding pinning herself down to a single style or theme in order to emphasize that creativity and life are more about the journey than about the end result.
