A powerful exploration of womanhood, resilience, and the untold stories of the female experience through art.
About
This debut solo exhibition by Atelier Six Art offers a powerful exploration of womanhood, resilience, and the shared stories of women across the globe. Showcasing a selection from the ongoing The Female Journey series, the works delve into themes such as fertility, menstruation, motherhood, pain, and societal expectations. Through layered mixed-media techniques, the series challenges traditional portrayals of women in art, focusing instead on their strength, courage, and transformation.
The artist behind Atelier Six Art began painting as a means of recovery from illness, creating artworks that are deeply personal and reflective of the resilience found in adversity. Rooted in these experiences and informed by diverse artistic movements, the works aim to foster reflection, connection, and dialogue about the untold stories of women.
Join us at The Chapel, St. Margaret’s House, to experience this compelling debut exhibition celebrating the beauty and complexity of the female journey.
