Midsummer rite with Gaggle at Wilkins Roof Garden

About

Wilkins Roof Garden (via UCL front entrance on Gower Street), London WC1E 6BT. Inspired by the ancient Egyptian rites that took place in the five spare days between each calendar year, all-women alternative choir Gaggle perform as the daughters of the sun god Ra. With sounds from DJ-artists Russell Jones and zitrone, plus black cocktails, amulet-making and green eye make-up to fend off misfortune. This event is part of Petrie Museum's programme for its Timekeeper installation, which runs to 3 August.
