About

arebyte Gallery presents The Evolution of Ent-: QX by artist and quantum physicist Libby Heaney.

The first 360˚ immersive installation in the UK using quantum computing as both medium and subject matter that explores parallel worlds, probing the futures of powerful new quantum computing systems.

The Evolution of Ent-: QX is positioned within the context of a fictional start-up company QX, (Quantum eXperience). Heaney uses the pseudo company to prompt the viewer to consider the future of new quantum technological developments and question how they may be utilised to extend current modes of surveillance capitalism and control.

The exhibition includes slimy walls, protruding limbs of quantum creatures,  pulsating liquid worlds that shift and breathe, tentacle beanbags made in collaboration with Rosie Gibbens, pseudo tech company promo video becomes overtaken by Quantum glitches.
