Group show featuring mixed-media work by twelve up-and-coming California-based artists.
About
The Dinner Party is a multimedia group show featuring the work of twelve California-based artists. A nod to Judy Chicago's 1974 installation, the exhibition captures the rituals and themes found at meals. Artists were asked to select work that served as a contribution to the broader show–like bringing a bottle of wine or loaf of bread to a potluck. Using sculpture, photography, painting, and more, artists capture the many layers within the preparation, execution, and clean-up of a dinner party.
