Inspired by Fanon’s assertion that when the ‘colonised revolts, it is not for a particular culture, they revolt simply because, for a variety of reasons, they can no longer breathe’.

“Challenging the colonial world is not a rational confrontation of viewpoints. It is not a discourse on the universal, but the impassioned claim by the colonized that their world is fundamentally different” ~ Frantz Fanon, The Wretched of the Earth

“Superiority? Inferiority? Why not simply try to touch the other, feel the other, discover each other?” ~ Frantz Fanon, Black Skin, White Masks
