AboutThe Cork Street Open Exhibition is the UK's fastest growing independent open exhibition filling two large galleries in the heart of Mayfair, in London's art dealing centre.
In 2012 more than 2,100 submissions were received from across the UK and around the world, each being carefully reviewed by the panel of judges comprised of experts in the contemporary art market.
The final selection of approximately 200 works is comprised of paintings, original prints, photographs, sculpture, prints and graphic art and is hung in salon style over an eight day period. Cash and materials prizes are awarded by the judges in a number of categories.
The judges are volunteers who generously donate their time and expertise, viewing hundreds of entries online and in person, in the end selecting works which comprise each year's exhibition.
The purpose of Cork Street Open Exhibitions is to provide an opportunity for both emerging and establish artists from around the world to gain exposure and sell their work while benefiting a selected charity.
