Ezra Pound’s and Ernest Fenollosa’s English translation of select noh plays, which W. B. Yeats consulted when writing At the Hawk’s Well over a century ago. Jonas describes the profound impact that this publication has had on her practice since the 1970s and its continued resonance in her work today.
