Photography by Liberty Rowley. I decided to take a photograph every time the bus I was on stopped for the Driver to swap with a colleague.
About
During the couple of years I’ve been doing this, the automated announcement changed from “The bus will wait a short time for a change of Drivers to take place” to “The bus will wait here whilst the Drivers change over”.
I enjoy the new, more concise version.
This series of photographs have been compliled in to a book - The bus will wait a short time for a change of Drivers to take place
Liberty Rowley takes photographs and makes short films while walking or while travelling by bus. She recently discovered that her work can be defined as Microgeography, a branch of Psychogeography concerned with looking at small or confined landscapes.
She studied sculpture at Camberwell College of Art and is currently studying in the AltMFAprogramme. In 2011 she founded The London Arts Board.
