The Box is an exhibition with work from 11 women artists in NYC exploring the idea of what it means to be a female artist in today's crazy world.
About
What does it mean to be a woman artist? Especially in today’s landscape. Feeling “boxed” in, we are ready to show the world that we are more than our “box." In fact, we are ready to break *out* of the “box.”
Art provides us the freedom to be expressive. It is empowering, fantabulous, ambiguous, zealous, whimsical, challenging, peaceful, and fierce…
The Box is an exhibition with work from 11 women artists in NYC exploring the idea of what it means to be a female artist in today's crazy world. This show will also have a raffle of artwork from each artist. All proceeds from this raffle will be donated to Planned Parenthood.
