Exhibition of ink painting uniting old and modern painting techniques from Japan
About
Constant change is an inevitable part of life. All things must continuously evolve and eventually die. Transience remains a very important concept in Japanese philosophy and is strongly present in Japanese art. Each moment and stage of existence should be appreciated and enjoyed. The ephemeral form of things is strongly reflected in Sumi-e, Japanese ink painting.
This exhibition presents some unique moments and fragile stages of nature. The carps jump with effort from the agitated water with energy, the image capturing a few seconds full of dynamics and power. The broken pine tree reflects its unbelievable strength. The magnolia flowers pass through several life stages. Finally, we look at the city - bathed in the warmth of the sunset.
On the one hand, change is difficult to accept, but on the other, it opens new perspectives and potential. Moreover, the uniqueness of each moment renders it very precious, something to be celebrated and cherished.
This exhibition transports us into a world of exceptional emotions, reflections on life and timeless values.
