'The Art Critic’s Choice at Home - what Art does an Art Critic Choose for their Home - and why!? And how do they view the Art in homes of others?!' Come and listen to a free talk by art critic Estelle Lovatt. This event is part of Dwelling, the Fitzrovia Chapel's autumn exhibition.

About

Art Critic Estelle Lovatt FRSA has the experience of being on both sides of the canvas having trained as a painter, read art history and as a gallery exhibition curator, Estelle teaches, judges and talks about art from Cave Art to Banksy, with expert opinion. Estelle is a freelance art critic for the BBC radio and TV, Sky News, CNN, Al Jazeera, LBC. And teaches at the Hampstead School of Art, London. She also writes essays for art book exhibition catalogues including ‘Henry Moore at Work’; ‘Simon Gudgeon: Isis’, Halcyon Gallery, and The Royal Parks, London; McAlpine Miller, Castle Fine Art, London and, The Hoerle-Guggenheium Gallery, Chelsea New York USA; Jane McAdam Freud, Gazelli Art House, London.

About Dwelling

DWELLING: an exhibition of beauty and attachment in Fitzrovia residencies

An Art Critic's Choice at Home is part of the Fitzrovia Chapel’s second free autumn exhibition, Dwelling. The show, which explores the design choices, style and perceptions of beauty in dwellings across Fitzrovia, will include pieces and contributions from television presenter, writer and comedian Griff Rhys Jones, TED speaker and ritual maker Tiu de Haan and art critic Tabish Khan. It will also include art and images from hotels, homes and hidden parts of the area.

Dwelling is open Wednesday 14 to 28 November 2018, 11:00 to 16:00
