Reflect on growth, friendship and simple pleasures as you join artist Lucy Ketchin to make a textile banner, inspired by her exhibition in the Porch Gallery at Left Bank Leeds.
About
Themed around things that bring you joy, your banner can be adorned with words, shapes, favourite colours or a combination of all three.
Take the opportunity to slow down, make mindfully and creatively explore composition and colour. There's no rush to finish your banner before you leave; the emphasis is on the cathartic process of creation rather than the finished piece.
All materials are provided and you don’t need any sewing experience. Lucy will be there to guide the creative process and offer advice on basic applique techniques.
