A new exhibition featuring the works of contemporary Czech photographers, inspired by Allen Ginsberg, reflecting on a variety human experiences
About
The broad spectrum of human vulnerabilities and desires raging from motherhood to abandonment, and inspired by Allen Ginsberg’s thoughts on ‘tenderness’ is presented in the new London edition of Tender, a group show of contemporary Czech photography, which premiered in New York in 2019. Highlighting the work of New York based Marie Tomanova alongside Tereza Zelenkova and Hana Knizova from the London Arts scene, the exhibition introduces the work of 12 Czech photographers using a deliberately wide range of photographic strategies – from snapshot-like images that have appeared in the context of fashion editorials to post-conceptual works.
