About
Bringing together a stellar line-up of speakers from a range of disciplines, TEDxRoyalCentralSchool is set to open the doors of one of the countries top drama schools for a day of exploration, inquisition and, most importantly, ideas. Taking place on Saturday 27th October in the Embassy Theatre, this community-led initiative will explore ideas worth sharing from a small and specialised conservatoire. It's time to Re:ACT.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TED Talks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.
Registration will open at 09:30, with the event starting promptly at 10:00. Please arrive in good time to register, grab a cup of coffee and find your seat. Latecomers will be admitted at a convenient opportunity between talks. The talks are due to finish at 15:30, followed by a complimentary drinks reception. We encourage you to stay after the talks to further discuss, explore and react to the incredible ideas that have been shared.
