Chelsea Space invites you to join us for afternoon tea and doughnuts for 4 consecutive weeks to run in conjunction with the exhibition Rasheed Araeen, Peter Fillingham and Chelsea Space. Each Wednesday between 4:30 – 6:00pm a special guest will host the afternoon with a talk in the gallery.
About
Wednesday 5 December we are delighted to have artist and colour expert Garth Lewis as our special guest. Garth will give an interactive presentation on colour within the exhibition space.
Donald Smith, Director of Exhibitions at Chelsea Space, will welcome guests from 4:30pm. Garth will begin his talk at 5pm.

Garth Lewis
Garth Lewis is a painter who lives and works in Hastings, East Sussex, and has exhibited in the United Kingdom, Europe, Japan and the United States. He was educated at Hornsey College of Art, London, University of New Mexico and Queens College, City University of New York. Until 2011, he was Senior Lecture teaching Colour and Visual Studies at Central St Martins, the University of the Arts, London.
Colour Pedagogy and Software Development are two areas of overlapping research; he co-produced Chromafile: a paint-based digital colour palette. In 2013 he published an interactive colour course: www.virtualcolourcourse.com. He is the author of 2000 Colour Combinations, published by Batsford 2009.
