Unique, one-of-a-kind teapots made by important contemporary designers, architects, painters, sculptors, ceramicists and craftspeople, often with a non-traditional approach to media, are the main thrust of this significant collection.

About

A dynamic selection of imaginative teapots by contemporary artists from the largest teapot collection in the world, held by the Kamm Teapot Foundation founded by Los Angeles collectors Sonny and Gloria Kamm. Disciplines as diverse as metalworking, woodworking, fiber, paper—and of course ceramics—will be represented, along with myriad creative interpretations of the teapot's standard features: pot, spout and handle as seen through the lenses of Funk, Figure and Form. The boundary-pushing treatments include embroidery, enamel, collage, knotting, electroforming, and pistachio shells among others.
