Be Smart About Art are visiting Store Street Framing to get a behind-the-scenes look at the workshop. You’ll have a special opportunity to handle some gorgeous high-end frames as well as discover a new range which has been designed in mind of artists and gallerists alike.

About

#besmartaboutart networking is a monthly opportunity presented by Be Smart About Art to meet artists, curators & other art world peers, view exhibitions and spaces, and expand knowledge – creative and professional alike!

You’ll also attain essential insight into what to consider when getting framing done for yourself and/or clients, ranging from glazing options to what to bear in mind when presenting a collection of pieces for a show. Andrew will be available to answer your own questions when it comes to the presentation of two-dimensional works, helping works to stand out whilst providing a commercial reward.

All attendees will receive a festive voucher for you or a client to use towards framing. Full details to be provided at the event!

About Andrew Milne Home

Andrew studied Fine Art, finishing with an M.A. in Fine Art at Winchester School Of Art in 1995. He then lived and worked in Spain for several years. After returning to London in the late 90s, he worked for John Jones in the artists’ surfaces department. With this experience under his belt, he started working at Russell & Chapple, building the business' reputation as a specialist in fine art textiles and supports.  After a stint working as General Manager at Rankin Photography, he took up a new role managing businesses in the Artmat Group, including Russell & Chapple, C. Roberson & Co and Store Street Framing.

Andrew’s current role encompasses retail, framing, project management and manufacturing in the fine art industry.
